What We Do

Thriving for life through nurturing cultural genesis

Purabi Cultural Academy

Purabi Cultural Academy (PCA) is known as one of the most vibrant cultural organizations in Melbourne, Victoria. It has been Operating since 2017. It is, the fundamental cultural wing of the Purabi Cultural Foundation, envisioned to convey basic music education from the origin of enriched Bengali music, culture, and heritage. In PCA, we believe that music influences a child’s academic performance, assists in enhancing social skills, and provides a passage for creativity that is essential to a child’s development. We have adopted an integrated approach to learning. We are committed to provide a holistic environment that helps students involved in music to develop their listening, creative thinking, and social skills.

Regular Weekly Classes

PCA strongly believes our culture will stay alive through our next generation. We train and encourage our Bengali culture for our young generations, specially those who are born and brought up in Australia. To strengthen this mission, we also engage adult learners by providing music & dance lessons to all age groups starting from 3 years up to 70+ years.

Participation in events

PCA participates in different cultural events & festivals organized by the various community groups in Australia. Considering the diverse and vibrant nature of the Melbourne, PCA collaborates with other performing cultural & community organizations, so that the students can take the opportunity of shared learning in the field of performing arts and music.
