Thriving for life through nurturing cultural genesis
Munir Chowdhury is, a Statistician, currently working for the law enforcement agency of Victorian State Government. Being a Life member of both Bangladesh Statistical Association and Australian Bureau of Statistics, Munir has recreational interest in music, drama and history. As a cultural activist he has been actively involved in organising and performing different cultural activities in Australia. He is, a founder member of the Purabi Cultural Foundation (PCF), enthusiastic to support the cultural & language movements within the multicultural diversified community of Australia.
We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our Foundation is located, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong People, and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waterways. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
