Dr Roseline Botlero PhD, is, an Australian Awards Alumni and distinguished fellow of ICDDR,B, one of the world’s leading global health research institutes. She is a medical doctor by background and researcher with specialization in clinical epidemiology in the areas of women’s health and chronic non-communicable diseases.

In addition to her teaching, Roseline is currently in leading the role of Director of the International Postgraduate Students Program at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University, Melbourne. She also teaches MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MPH (Master in Public Health) students at the University of Melbourne, and Australian Catholic University.

She is a current member of the Australasian Epidemiological Association, Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand and Bangladesh Medical Society of Victoria, Australia. She has been leading various research projects of SHEBA Bangladesh, in the field of preventative health issues including women’s health.

She loves music and dance and is very passionate about Bangladeshi songs, dance, and dramas since her early childhood. She used to regularly participate in singing, dancing, and dramas in different cultural programs organized by her school and medical college.

She is, an enthusiastic founder member of the Purabi Cultural Foundation (PCF), deeply committed to promoting cultural appreciation and recreational activities within diverse multicultural community of Australia. With a passion for fostering creativity and connection, she actively participates in various initiatives and events organized by the foundation and other organizations owned and led by Bangladeshi communities including the Victorian and Chittagong Medical College Medical Society and Bangladeshi Christian community in Melbourne.

She loves gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending happy times with her kids and family.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our Foundation is located, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong People, and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waterways. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
